The hardworking hands of our elders cleared the scarce island land and created fertile areas for olives, vineyards and orchards. The stone was stacked in drywalls and small stone houses. Small stone houses served as shelter.

Although more than a century has passed, we still need a place to rest from the sun and shelter from the rain. As before, our new modern small house serves us as a shelter and a place to store tools and machines.
